Integrated Work Plan Comment History

The Integrated Work Plan Version 1.0 is an enhancement to Version 0.2.   IWP v1.0 incorporates the resolution of 1,284 comments received against v0.2 and v0.1 from the aviation industry, government partners, and the public.

A total of 1,010 comments were received from the review comment period for v0.2 and were applied to v1.0.  Comments were also received for v0.1.  Most of the v0.1 comments were incorporated into v0.2.  A total of 274 comments were held from v0.2 and were incorporated into v1.0.

All comments received were given a unique identification number and captured in a Web-based comment adjudication application.  Each comment was adjudicated following a controlled process that included multiple review cycles and final verification.  Comments were initially reviewed by an adjudication panel and either accepted or declined.  If accepted, the comment was assigned to a Subject Matter Expert (SME) aligned to a JPDO Working Group.  The SME was responsible for developing a resolution to the comment. Throughout the adjudication process, each SME worked closely with their Working Group representatives to address the comment.  Proposed resolutions were reviewed and approved by the JPDO Enterprise Architecture and Engineering Division prior to their incorporation into the IWP.

To document this process, we developed the IWP v1.0 Comments for Publication which is a consolidated list of the v0.1 and v0.2 comments with their resolutions.

The IWP v1.0 Comments for Publication includes each comment’s unique identification number, the version number of the reference comment, the IWP chapter number, the comment status, element type, element number, organization, originator, suggested change, and final resolution.  The final resolution column presents a summary statement of the change made and, where appropriate, the analysis and decision-making process that went into answering and implementing the suggestions.
